Gabe Roth has spent his career in and around physical security… and he's seen the industry from almost every angle.
Before joining Belfry, Gabe was Director of Operations at NOLA Protection, where he managed day-to-day security operations firsthand: scheduling officers, handling coverage issues, keeping clients happy, and trying to make the back office run without it eating up every hour of the day. He knows what it feels like to be responsible for a team of officers across multiple sites, and he knows the specific, grinding frustration of doing that work with tools that weren't designed for it.
He also spent time in venue and event security; the kind of environment where the stakes for operational failures are immediate and visible, and where coordination between a large security team and the back office has to work in real time or it doesn't work at all.
Perhaps most interestingly, Gabe was a customer before joining the Belfry team. He experienced firsthand what it meant when the software actually matched the way the work gets done… when scheduling changes didn't require a laptop, when payroll that used to take two full days was done in two hours, and when the back office could stop chasing problems and start getting ahead of them.
Today Gabe provides implementation services at Belfry, guiding new customers through the process of getting up and running on the platform. It's a role he approaches not as a software trainer, but as someone who has actually sat in the seats his customers are sitting in.
He's been the operations manager trying to make sense of a new system. He's been the person on the phone at 6 AM when a shift doesn't get covered. He knows what's at stake when a technology transition doesn't go smoothly; and that's exactly why customers trust him when it does.
